The Dell operates Breakfast and After School clubs at both Morgans and Abel Smith sites. Our clubs are extremely popular, and demand is high so please ensure you book your places early to avoid disappointment.
Morgans: 7.30am – 9.00am (Held in the Dining Hall for all ages)
Abel Smith: 7.30am – 9.00am (Key stage 1 breakfast club is held in the building adjacent to main entrance. Key Stage 2 breakfast club is held in the dining hall.)
Ages 3 to 11 years. Children are offered cereal, toast and a drink in the Dining Hall before 8.30am. The children can enjoy table top activities before school. Our Key Stage 1 children (those in Nursery Reception and Years 1 & 2 classes) are escorted to their classrooms at the end of the session. Key Stage 2 children (years 3-6)-who are already in the correct building, are asked to go to their classrooms.
After School Club
Ages 3 to 11 years. We offer a wide variety of activities, encouraging children to have free choice. These include indoor and outdoor games, sports, art, crafts and local trips. During the course of the term, there will also be themed weeks. A light, nutritious tea is provided. Children are to be collected not later than 6.00pm

The Mandeville Club – KS1 (The Annexe)
The After School club for children in Key Stage 1 runs in the Annexe, offered both structured and unstructured activities, offering children free choice and experimentation in whatever they choose. The club also follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) guidelines and we like to reinforce the learning from school but in a play setting.
The Queens Club – KS2 (Main School)
The After School club for children in Key Stage 2 is run within the main school building. The club is split into different areas including a comfortable, quiet corner for reading and chatting, a carpeted area for construction and board games, an arts & craft table, a cooking area and other tables within a range of social and interactive games.
Abel Smith School : 3.15pm – 6.00pm
Our afterschool club at Abel Smith school is run as follows;-
Key Stage 1 (children under 8 years of age) is held in the EYFS building.
Key Stage 2 (children over 8 years of age) are accommodated in the club held in the small building adjacent to the main entrance.
Our settings are split into areas such as a comfortable, quiet area, area, art area and construction area. Activities include arts & crafts, outside games, sports, and much more. Children are encouraged to use their free choice is selecting their activities. The club also follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) guidelines.
Holiday Club ( Held at Morgans School)
Breakfast session: 7.30am – 9.00am
Day session: 9.00am – 6.00pm
The holiday club is offered to all children from our site at The Annexe at Morgans School. We offer a varied programme of onsite and off site activities including sports, themed weeks, craft, and day trips out, More information including dates and the programmes are available on our Holiday Club page.
